HOLIDAY MAKEUP

EASY AND PRETTY HOLIDAY MAKEUP FOR ANY FESTIVE OCCASION

Whether you're headed to a family festivity or just going into work, here are 2 easy to follow makeup looks that can take you from everyday to festive in just a few minutes.

HIGH SHINE
Apply your everyday makeup if you wear it.
To add just a hint of shine, apply a highlighter stick (I love my Glossier Haloscope highlighter) to the top of your cheeks and on the bridge of your nose.
PRO TIP: Blot it just in the space below the edge of my eye and above my cheek bone. Next, gently rub some onto your finger and pat it on your eyelid. This will give you a glow without going full disco ball.
Finally, apply a clear lipgloss for that glossy finish.
This look is still work appropriate and can take you from day into night without any big changes!

EASY GLAM
Apply your everyday makeup if you wear it.
Add your highlighter to your cheekbones and nose, but NOT your eyelids.
Instead, use a black or dark-colored eyeliner pencil to line the top eyelid, just at the lash line. It can be slightly smudged and imperfect or, if it's more your style, sleek and straight, like a cat-eye.
To top things, coat your lips with a matte red lip pencil. No gloss is needed if your goal is to be more subtle. If you are going for drama, then by all means, get glossy!
